Design Architect
Albert Poon is a former design architect and head of design at DoorDash where he led a team of designers, design technologists and researchers to create the digital products for the food-delivery app. Poon joined DoorDash in July 2017, two- and-a-half years before its 2020 IPO.
Previously, he led the design team at Odopod and held user experience architect and design manager positions at Adobe and Yahoo!
He began his career as a designer at the San Jose Mercury News
in 1991. He earned his B.A. in design from UCLA in 1991.
